I have tried other honey products, but these are in a completely different league for me. From the quality of the honey to the clever little snap-pack format and the company behind them, everything feels considered and premium.
The honey itself is excellent — pure, natural and noticeably high quality. I particularly appreciate knowing that I am carrying a carefully sourced natural product rather than simply a sugary syrup or highly processed alternative. Having tried different ways of carrying honey or sugar when out and about, I wouldn't now choose anything else.
What makes these particularly special is that this isn't simply ordinary honey put into a convenient packet. It is raw, monofloral New Zealand Mānuka honey with a KFactor 16+ rating. I appreciate Wedderspoon's honey is never subjected to high-heat processing, is independently tested to meet or exceed New Zealand's Monofloral Mānuka standards.
For me personally, that makes a surprisingly big difference. There have been times when my health has meant I have needed something sweet quickly, and previously I struggled with the feeling that I was simply giving my already vulnerable body "sugar". With these, I know I am choosing a carefully sourced, raw natural food with the distinctive properties that make Mānuka honey so valued. I finally feel that I am giving my body something good at the same time as giving it something it needs. That feeling of nourishing has made these little packs particularly special to me.
The snap packs themselves are brilliant. They are compact, secure, clean and already portioned, with no sticky bottle, spoon or measuring required. I keep them alongside my glucose meter, and they take up virtually no room. For health reasons, there are times when I need something readily accessible, and being able to reach for one of these immediately has proved invaluable on numerous occasions. They've also given me considerably more confidence when leaving home.
What really sets this product apart from others, however, is the company behind it. The quality of a product matters enormously, but so does knowing who you are buying it from. My experience with this company has been exceptional. I encountered genuine kindness, compassion and a willingness to listen, combined with real knowledge and passion for the products they source. It is increasingly rare to experience customer care that feels this personal and sincere.
That has actually become part of why I choose this honey over alternatives. When I reach for one of these sachets, I know I am using a high-quality, natural product supplied by people who genuinely care about what they sell and the people using it.
There may be plenty of honey products available, but for me these stand apart. Exceptional quality, wonderfully convenient packaging and customer care that goes far beyond anything I expected. The little sachets have made a disproportionately big difference to my everyday life.
I cannot recommend them highly enough!
The lid is difficult to get off for an old person. The packaging before was better so why change?

We actually chose this packaging because it's proven easier to open on our other products (a gentle squeeze on the sides usually loosens it), and it also lets us offer letterbox delivery, so orders arrive faster and we can keep pricing better for customers. This particular batch does seem to have come out stiffer than usual, though, and I'm sorry that made things harder. In the meantime, I'll speak to our manufacturer about this.
We'd love to put this right — if you're happy to let us know, we can ask our warehouse to specifically check and loosen your next pot before it's sent out (they wouldn't break the foil seal underneath, just for hygiene reasons, but the outer lid itself we can definitely check over for you).

I am a fan of all types of honey & like to use runny honey in cooking & also spread on toast.I was aware of the healthy benefits of Manuka honey & had read about it on the Natural Health World website,so started ordering Wedderspoon Raw Manuka Honey KFactor 16+.It is a lot thicker than my usual honey & initially it did seem a bit sweeter to me,however I find it is the perfect addition for my breakfast cocktail of wholegrain cereal with semi skimmed milk, Greek yogurt, & mixed berries.It is more expensive than other brands of manuka honey but given the quality of Wedderspoon's & with the special offers available from Natural Health World,I think it is worth it.

To explain the mystery: we wanted to add a little something extra to your parcels as a thank you, but these particular Manuka drops only come in larger packs and are quite pricey, so as a small business, a couple of loose drops per parcel was really all we could manage. It wasn't meant to be inconsistent, just us trying to do something nice within what we could afford. I'm sorry if our warehouse missed one in your parcel too.
We're out of stock of the drops at the moment, so this won't come up again for now, but we'll keep your feedback in mind if we bring them back — either included properly every time or not at all.
